We are so excited to be providing a taste of Cornwall this Wednesday 5th September at the prestigious GQ Men of the Year Awards, which celebrates the men and women who shape the world’s cultural landscape over style, politics, entertainment and sport.
Our canapés and three-course dinner will be served up alongside a selection of iconic and GQ-favourite whisky cocktails, provided by Haig Club.

Canapés will include: Smoked cod’s roe, avocado puree chilli, viola flowers, seaweed cracker, Crispy rice paper with sea trout mi cuit, pickled turnip & nashi pear, Squid ink tapioca wafer with chorizo aioli & black olive crumb, Slow cooked lamb belly and rosemary fritters with minted hollandaise and Truffle cheese arancini.
Dinner will begin with Cornish Gin cured salmon, sand shrimp slaw – katsuobushi mayonnaise, followed by a main course of aged soy glazed Ox cheek, beef carrot, clotted cream mash potato and finish with vanilla yogurt panna cotta, strawberries, hibiscus, honeycomb and hazelnuts.
Haig Club will serve the following stylish cocktails: Haig Clubman and Cola (Haig Clubman, Fever-Tree Madagascan Cola, fresh lime), Haig Clubman Boulevardier (Haig Clubman, Belsazar Rose Vermouth, Italian bitter aperitif, orange twist), Haig Club X GQ Cooler (Haig Club, elderflower, Fever-Tree Ginger ale, fresh cucumber) and Haig Clubman Espresso Martini (Haig Clubman, crème de cacao, cold brew, organic honey).
