An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as a Restaurant Manager at Rojano’s in the Square.

Rojano’s in the Square is part of the Paul Ainsworth family which includes the Michelin starred Paul Ainsworth at No.6, the beautiful Padstow Townhouse – a small boutique hotel with six individually boutique styled rooms – The Mariners Public House which sits across the water in the coastal town of Rock and the recent, newly opened cookery school and chef’s table, Mahѐ.

Rojano’s in the Square is a Padstow institution, known for serving its customers fresh Cornish produce with an Italian and Mediterranean twist. We work closely with some of the county’s greatest suppliers and pride ourselves on our signature artisan pizzas, incredible pasta dishes and the finest meat and fish dishes made using the freshest ingredients. Our team is incredibly valuable to us and we take time and care in offering fantastic careers within our family.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellent food and a flair for making sure that our customers receive a fantastic, relaxed dining experience. As Restaurant Manager, you will assist the Operations Director in the daily running of the restaurant and ensure the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction are delivered. You should have excellent people skills, flexibility and be a brilliant communicator. As a member of the senior management team you will attend and contribute to regular meetings in order to optimise trading opportunities and ensure exceptional service is provided to our customers. You will also be a role model to your team, guiding and supporting them through service with patience, motivation and energy.

As Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities and duties will include:

– Mentoring, motivating, monitoring, managing and leading your team, to create a fantastic relationship between our team, the wider team at our other sites, and our guests.

– Using your initiative to make the right decisions.

– Communicating with the restaurant and kitchen management team, resolving any immediate issues and providing feedback on an on-going basis.

– Maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the restaurant, setting standards and leading by example.

– Demonstrating confidence in company policies and relaying them to other team members.

– Organising and prioritizing your own responsibilities as well as that of the team.

– Liaising with the Operations Director to ensure budgets and targets are met.

– Bringing fresh ideas to management operations meetings, following ideas through and delivering results.

Paul Ainsworth at No.6 has held a Michelin star and four AA Rosettes since 2012. Our Kitchen Porters are highly valued members of our team who keep our kitchens running smoothly and help us maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness. You will clean and maintain the pot wash area, pre-wash and hand-wash all cutlery, crockery and kitchen equipment, before running the dishwasher. On occasion you will also help with food preparation before service.
