Padstow Townhouse
Townhouse Manager

We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a hospitality-focussed individual to become our new Townhouse Manager at Paul Ainsworth’s Padstow Townhouse.

Our unique 18th Century Townhouse features six individually styled suites in the beautiful old part of Padstow, just five minutes’ walk from our Michelin-starred restaurant – Paul Ainsworth at No.6.

We’re looking for a friendly, bubbly person who is passionate about welcoming our guests and making their stay with us exceptional. As Townhouse Manager, you should be highly self-motivated and target driven. You’ll be an excellent people manager and be able to confidently solve problems as they arise. You should have a background in providing outstanding customer service, and an impeccable eye for detail. A hospitality background is an asset, but not essential.

As Townhouse Manager you will manage our close-knit and dedicated team of Townhouse Assistants and Housekeepers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our luxury, boutique hotel and consistently maintain an exceptional level of cleanliness. You’ll provide a full concierge service for all of our guests, making reservations and helping to arrange activities for them during their stay with us. You will also work swiftly and decisively to resolve any issues that arise at the Townhouse on a day-to-day basis.

You will maintain excellent communication with the team in person, verbally, or via our in-house communication system, and you will attend management meetings and track Townhouse financial data – strong skills with Microsoft Excel are an asset.

You will build fantastic working relationships with the teams at all of our restaurants, public house and cookery school to ensure that our guests have a smooth experience throughout our family. You will also build a strong relationship with our marketing and digital team to develop a marketing strategy that will boost our already excellent occupancy rate.

You must hold a full, UK driving licence.

If you are interested in this role and would like to learn more, we would love to hear from you. Please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to [email protected]
