Course Calendar

John and Paul have had so much fun putting these courses together – using ingredients from far and near – and introducing new techniques that you can use in a multitude of different dishes.

These courses are available throughout the year, so you can decide where you’d like to begin.

Course Day

Every cookery class begins with a light breakfast in No. 6’s Florence Parker private dining room, where you and your fellow students will meet over fresh coffee and locally sourced treats. Once you’re fuelled up for the morning ahead, you’ll get the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the No. 6 kitchen and meet the team of chefs who are the life and soul of our Michelin star restaurant.

Then you’ll head up to Mahé and don your chef’s whites. With a maximum of five students in each class, you’ll receive hands-on tuition from John, tailored to your skill level, cooking goals and dietary needs. After a morning under John’s expert instruction, you’ll break for lunch – which will be served to you by the No. 6 team at our gorgeous chef’s table, or out on Mahé’s private terrace with glass of fizz to celebrate the morning’s success!

The afternoon will see you honing your cooking skills – learning the tips and tricks to take your dishes to the next level. You’ll finish the day with a beautiful bag filled with the fruits of your labours, all packaged up for you to enjoy at home.
