What’s not to love about this gorgeous comfort food? Bistro cooking is all about the soothing and satisfying meals that are served by great pubs up and down the country, including our very own here in Cornwall, The Mariners.
On this one-day course, you’ll learn how to make a selection of simple, delicious recipes, including the perfect hand-raised pork pie with piccalilli, an incredible crab and prawn bruschetta, and a heart-warming treacle pudding with proper custard.
Our courses are practical and hands-on, with a maximum of five students per class, so you’ll have the chance to pick John’s brains about every step of the cooking process, and will leave us with all of the tips and tricks to bring the warmth and flavour of the bistro into your own kitchen.
