We’re delighted to be able to welcome children and dogs at Padstow Townhouse (we have two dog friendly rooms). Please read below for a little more information on making them feel right at home.
Our “Little Guests”
We are delighted to welcome children of four and over, we have fold-away beds that fit comfortably within any of our suites. We’ll add all the little touches to make their stay just as luxurious and friendly as yours.
We’re limited to a maximum of two additional guests per suite, and ask that all children are accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of their stay.
Helpful Guidance for Canine Visitors to the Padstow Townhouse (and their owners)
We’re delighted to hear that your four-legged friend is coming to stay with us at the Padstow Townhouse.
To help you plan your visit and make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we would like to make you aware of some special guidance for canine visitors.
Two’s company
We have two beautiful dog-friendly suites, both of which are conveniently located on the Ground Floor. In each suite we can welcome a maximum of two dogs. We ask that your doggie pals show off their best behaviour and are supervised at all times to avoid disturbing other guests.
Doggie Fees
There is a fee of £25 per night per dog. Rather than ask for a damage deposit, we would like to draw your attention to our booking Terms and Conditions, and in particular point 9 – Charges for damage, extras and cleaning. https://www.paul-ainsworth.co.uk/padstow-townhouse/book-online/reservation-terms/
How old am I?
We love puppies, but we know house-training in unfamiliar surroundings is not as easy as it is at home. So, to avoid little accidents and the risk of extra cleaning costs, we are asking that all canine visitors are fully house-trained and are aged one year and above.
Spay or neuter / vaccinations / and flea treatments
Again, to help with housekeeping we are also requesting that our four-legged visitors are spayed or neutered, that they are fully up to date with their vaccinations, and that they have had recent flea and tick control treatment (eg. Frontline or Advantage) 3 weeks prior to arrival.
Keeping things clean
If your dog answers the call of nature around the immediate Padstow Townhouse area and beyond, please make sure you clean up after your pet. Unfortunately, we don’t provide dog bags, so please remember to pack some.
You lead I’ll follow
When leaving your room please ensure your dog is on a lead to help curb their natural curiosity to explore the rest of the Padstow Townhouse. As a precautionary note, the Townhouse is located close to the road, so we would also recommend having your pet on a lead as you leave the premises until you reach a designated dog-friendly area.
Whisper don’t shout
We welcome well-behaved, calm dogs. Please make sure that your dog does not disturb other guests by barking. We understand it’s natural for dogs to express themselves, but please encourage them to do so on the beaches and in open spaces, rather than the rooms.
Don’t leave me alone
It is a booking requirement that our furry friends are not left in rooms unattended at any time during your stay. If you have any concerns about leaving your dog, let us know – we may be able to help you source a pet sitters or dog walkers during your stay.
Paws on the Floors
We know that dogs love to be comfy. But to avoid extra housekeeping charges, we would kindly ask you not to allow your dogs to climb on any of the furniture or on the bed. We don’t provide dog beds, so please feel free to bring your own.
Now for the important stuff -Dog Bowls and Treats
To help our canine companions settle in, we will provide a dog bowl for each room and a little treat or two to welcome your pet!
