Sit back, relax and let us inspire you to create a memorable and unique stay in Padstow.

Coastal walks
Muddy boots in the great outdoors

Padstow Townhouse is perfectly located in the old town, allowing you to park, rest up, and enjoy the fresh Cornish air. We are perfectly placed in a central location with great restaurants, walking routes and beautiful scenery just a stone’s throw away.

There are a number of walks surrounding Padstow, perfect for all abilities. Stroll in comfort by using our own Dubarry boots, courtesy of our friends at Countrywise, that you are free to borrow throughout your stay. Head down to the town and explore the harbour, or pick up the coastal path for a more adventurous trek.

Whether it’s a hearty hike or a leisurely stroll, we can provide you with tasty snacks and a flask of hot coffee for your day away, courtesy of the Pantry. If you are looking for something special, we can also offer you a personal picnic basket, complete with delicious treats and even a bottle of Champagne.

Wetsuits and Paddling
Messing around on the estuary

With the Camel Estuary and a host of beautiful beaches on our doorstep, there’s no better feeling than sand between your toes whilst you are in Cornwall!

We have great relationships with a host of local companies that are happy to help you during your stay with us. Why not try your hand at waterskiing, test your balance on a paddle board or learn to surf at Harlyn Bay – there’s so much to do in North Cornwall, the possibilities are endless.

If you prefer to be on the water rather than in it, there are some fantastic boat trips we can also recommend. Search for seals and dolphins with the help of Padstow Sealife Safaris, or enjoy a classic fishing trip on the Wayfarer from Rock. There’s plenty of variety to suit everyone’s agenda.

At the end of the day, make use of our dedicated outside area to hose down any equipment or wetsuits, so you are ready and raring to go for the next day.

Cycle around
The Amazing Camel Trail

Sitting right on the doorstep of Padstow is Cornwall’s most famous cycling route, The Camel Trail.

Away from the hustle and bustle of busy roads, you can pick up this 18-mile trail at varying locations. For cyclists and walkers alike, this traffic free and largely flat route runs along the route of the historic railway line and the estuary, providing fantastic sights to admire along the way.

Take advantage of our Townhouse vintage-style bicycles or test your co-ordination by hiring a tandem cycle from our friends at Padstow Cycle Hire.

There’s lots to catch your attention on the way; why not stop at the picturesque Camel Valley Vineyard and enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, whilst overlooking the glorious Cornish countryside.

You can also take the shorter route down to Wadebridge enjoying an ice cream on the way, browse around the shops and enjoy the local sites. You’re sure to work up an appetite!

The Graet Outdoors
A Townhouse Picnic

When the sun is shinning there’s no better place to have a Picnic.

We can arrange for you to have a Townhouse picnic, full to the brim with a range of delights, prepared by the team at Paul Ainsworth at No6.

You will be provided with gorgeous picnic blankets to set this picnic out on, once you open the basket you wont know where to start, from scotch eggs to sandwiches, olives to a full cream team, champagne to apple juice, to name a few of the temptations.

Perfect for a romantic lunch on the beach, or just getting to enjoy the Cornish coast and not having to worry about where to eat whilst you are out and about.
