Rojano’s in the Square has an exciting and colourful history that has made it the Padstow institution that we all know and love.
From the family that brought you Paul Ainsworth at No.6, Rojano’s in the Square offers rustic Italian and Mediterranean influenced dishes. Led by Head Chef Jack Clements, Rojano’s is a flexible, relaxed and accessible restaurant welcome to everyone. We are open seven days a week, from 10am through to late evening, serving lunch and dinner with homemade cakes, savoury of the day and refreshments in between.
Beginning life back in 1905, our eighteen century building was home to Tonkin Bootmakers, local craftsmen who created hand-sewn sea nailed boots for Padstow’s fishermen.
Rojano’s was officially born in 1974, thanks to local businessman Stanley Rojano. A larger than life character, Stan put his own traditional dishes on the menu, sharing his family favourites with locals, who just couldn’t get enough of his hearty Italian and Spanish cooking. Although the restaurant maybe a little quieter without him these days, we still carry the legacy of Stan’s ethos within Rojano’s through our traditional food and family run restaurant.
